Stuart started singing with Sussex folk legends, The Taverners. These days he is better known as a solo performer and has recorded seven albums in his own right.

Once described as having “one of the finest voices in the folk world”, he has appeared worldwide on TV & radio and in cabaret and concerts, from Bermuda to Berlin, and recorded seven albums.

He has worked with a variety of musicians including Show of Hands and Fisherman’s Friends, with whom he appeared at the Royal Albert Hall.
